Description:TRID is the combined TRIS (Transportation Research Information Services) Database that indexes published information about transport and transport research in the US and the ITRD (International Transport Research Documentation) Database that indexes published information about transport research worldwide in English, German, French, or Spanish. TRID contains almost a million records of references to books, technical reports, conference proceedings, journal articles and on-going research in the field of transportation. Coverage is for all modes of transportation and includes planning, finance, design and construction, materials, environmental issues, safety and human factors, and operations. With its focus on transportation research, information on vehicle standards and specifications, patent information, market research, or news articles is not included. In addition to materials from the Transportation Research Board, TRIS includes material from TLIB, ITRD, and PATH plus reports on research in progress.
