The Library Associates is an organization that promotes the development of the Saint Louis University Libraries. Membership benefits include invitations to members-only events, an exclusive invitation to the annual Saint Louis Literary Award Dinner, and more. Members are also allowed to borrow items from Pius Library. Associates are able to check out a maximum 20 books (MOBIUS and ILL are not allowed) for 21 days. Books are eligible for up to 3 renewals. Alumni are welcome to use the computers in the Learning Commons in order to access the Internet and search the electronic databases. At this time, alumni are not able to access the electronic databases remotely, only in the library. Only SLU personnel have access to university licensed software (Microsoft Office, SPSS, Maple, etc.) through the Learning Commons computers. Please view the Guest Access & Computer Use Guidelines for more information.
Alumni are eligible to obtain a copy card from Parking and Card Services. This allows alumni to print and copy from anywhere on campus, including Pius XII Memorial Library. For more information please call Parking and Card Services at (314) 977-3429. |
