Satistics Sources
 

Print resources are available in all University Libraries.  One of the first sources to consult is the current Statistical Abstract of the United States [Ref. HA202 .A3] located at the reference desk of Pius XII Memorial Library.  Two print indexes for statistics are the Statistical Reference Index (SRI) [Ref. Z 7554.U5 .S67] for state, local, and privately produced statistics and the American Statistics Index (ASI) [Ref. Z7554.U5 A46] for U.S. government produced statistics.  Both are located on Index Table 5 in the Reference Area.  Additional sources may be located by searching the Saint Louis Universtiy Libraries Catalog by subject such as United States Statistics or Statistics followed by a subheading that is your topic.  For example, Statistics Afro Americans, Statistics Women, Statistics Education, Statistics Hispanic Americans, etc.
