Scholarly Internet Resource Collections

This collection of scholarly resources on the Internet is divided into
nine major categories: Biological, Agricultural, and Medical Sciences;
Government Information; Instructional Resources: K-12; Instructional
Resources: University; Internet Enabling Tools; Maps & GIS;
Physical Sciences, Engineering, Computing, & Math; Social Sciences
& Humanities; and Visual & Performing Arts. It is a project
developed and maintained by the Libraries of the University of California--Riverside
although it was cooperatively created and is maintained by "over
20 librarians from the University of California, California State University

Scout
Report

Published every Friday, it is part of the Internet Scout Project located
in the Computer Sciences Department of the University of Wisconsin--Madison
and funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation. The
Scout Report selects, describes, organizes, and catalogs (using Library
of Congress Subject Headings) Internet sites of interest to students,
faculty, and staff in K-12 and higher education as well as the general
public.
