  • Pius Library is open from 10:00am on Sunday to 9:00pm on Friday, and from 10:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday, during the fall and spring semesters.
  • At Pius Library there are 10 friendly and knowledgeable subject librarians willing to work one-on-one with your student –  call or email for an appointment. More information can be found here.

  • Pius Library is wireless and there are 60 Windows-based desktop computers on the first floor for use by students.
  • Printing costs at Pius Library are the same as all computer labs across campus – $0.10 per page.
  • SLU Libraries have hundreds of DVDs, videos, and audio CDs as well as popular literature for your student’s enjoyment and education.
  • Café Libros is just inside the front door of Pius Library so your student can get a quick and nutritious energy boost during those long study sessions.
  • The SLU Libraries have a great web site and students can remotely access research databases from any computer outside the library or off campus at http://libraries.slu.edu.
  • SLU Libraries subscribe to over 140 different online databases in all subject areas for your student’s research needs.
  • Our Digital Collections consist of thousands of rare items that have been scanned, organized, and presented for display online.
  • A satellite office of the Undergraduate Writing Center and the Testing Center is located on the 3rd floor of Pius Library so your student can get help writing and editing their papers.
  • Your student can request books from any academic library in the state and have the books delivered to Pius Library through the MOBIUS catalog
  • Pius Library has over 20 study rooms for individual or group work
