Freshman Writing Program Library Component
Reference Librarians at Pius XII Memorial Library offer library instruction sessions and tours for ENGA-150, ENGA-190, and ENGA-192 classes. Each class is partnered with a librarian who will teach the instruction session(s) and is available by appointment for individual consultations to provide more in-depth research assistance.
ILLiad enables users to place, track, and keep a history of interlibrary loan requests from a personal online account. All transactions, including renewals, are done online. ILLiad also makes it possible to receive articles and photocopies electronically as Adobe PDF documents.
Library instruction explores research strategies and enables students and faculty to evaluate resources and contend with evolving information technologies.
Library Visits for High School Classes

Printing at Pius Library and MCL
Pius Library has one color printer, one high-speed printer, and two smaller black and white printers. Print jobs can be sent to all three of these printers from any of the public computers in the Reference Area. Those who use laptop computers with WindowsXP or Windows2000 operating systems can install the Pharos print system program and printer drivers to print to many computers across campus in addition to Pius Reference printers #2 and #3. Click on the link for instructions. Billiken Bucks are needed to release and print the materials sent to these printers.
Library users affiliated with Saint Louis University may submit suggestions for materials to be added to Pius Library's collection.
