This guide identifies career resources that may be found in the Reference Department of Pius XII Memorial Library or on the Internet.  It is not comprehensive and represents only some of the resources available.  Ask a reference librarian for further assistance.

Series of books examining specific career industries (ex: Advertising, Travel, etc). Each book divides different careers within the overall industry into separate chapters. Each chapter provides an overview of the types of jobs, requirements, working environments, outlook, and other helpful descriptions.

From the University of Delaware, this site links academic majors to career alternatives by providing information on career paths and sample job titles. It also has a short bibliography of career materials available to University of Delaware students in a particular major at their Career Center.  These materials may also be available in the Pius XII Memorial Library or the SLU Career Center.
