     Contains more than 12,000 U.S. public companies' history, long-term debt rating, and financial information derived from their annual reports, 10Ks, 10Qs, and other SEC filings.  Historical and financial information for approximately 13,000 non-United States-based companies from over 100 countries is also available.

Access to the following resources is available to anyone in Pius Library, unless stated otherwise below. Resources identified as being on the WWW are also available via remote access; however, remote access is restricted to current SLU students, faculty, and staff.

ABI/INFORM Global Edition.  1971- .  ProQuest.  In-library and remote access.
     Updated daily. Indexes and abstracts over 1,300 journals and trade publications in all areas of business and management, many with an international focus.  Full text is available for over 600 of the periodicals in page image (PDF), text, and/or Bell & Howell's Text+Graphics format. Examples of areas covered are accounting and taxation, banking and finance, economics, government, health care, human resources, labor relations, marketing, public administration, real estate, etc.

Academic Search Premier. 1975- .  EBSCOhost.  In-library and remote access.
     Updated daily.  Indexes about 8,000 scholarly and general interest periodicals.  Subject coverage includes biological and medical sciences, chemistry, education, engineering, humanities, physics, psychology, religion & theology, sociology, and women's studies. The full text of articles from approximately 3,500 periodicals is available.

Lexis-Nexis Academic.  L-N/CIS.  In-library and remote access.
     Updated continuously.  Provides online access to full-text of current and historical court cases, current codes and bill tracking for States and the United States, news sources, business and financial information, and international news and company information.

Business & Company Resource Center.  1980-  .  Gale.  In-library and remote access.
     Updated daily except Sunday.  Formerly was General Business File ASAP.  Indexes approximately 1,000 business journals and trade/industry publications as well as 200,000 full-text company directory profiles and over 50,000 full-text investment reports.  Approximately half of the journals and trade/industry publications are full text.  Also includes brief industry profiles, company histories, company financial statements, performance ratings, rankings, product and brand listings, and association listings.

PAIS International.  1972- .  Ovid.  In-library and remote access.
     Updated monthly.  Produced by the Public Affairs Information Service, this database indexes and abstracts books, journal articles, conference proceedings, reports, pamphlets, and government documents covering topics that are or may become the subject of legislation.  Subject areas include economic, political, and social issues, public administration, law, business, and political science.  Over 1,600 journals published worldwide in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish are selectively indexed each year.  For earlier years see PAIS International in Print (1934- ) and earlier titles at Z 7163 .P912 on Level 5.

Wall Street Journal.  1984-  .  ProQuest.  In-library and remote access.
     Updated daily.  This U.S. newspaper "is the financial newspaper of record. It offers in-depth coverage of national and international finance as well as first rate coverage of hard news."
