| LOCATING PERIODICALS |
|
Although more full-text articles are available online now, you still
will need to find many articles by locating the print publication in
the library. As with books, the Saint Louis University Libraries Catalog is your first
stop when you want to determine if the library subscribes to a particular
journal, magazine or newspaper title.
Although you can request books from other MOBIUS libraries, you cannot request journals
or individual articles through MOBIUS. Search only Saint Louis
University libraries when you search for journal, magazine, and newspaper
titles. When using the Saint Louis University Libraries Catalog to find a
periodical title, please remember to choose the Journal Title search option.

National Geographic.
These records illustrate the information found in a Saint Louis University Libraries Catalog record
for a periodical publication. Periodical records contain a lot
of information about the publication. You need to know if the library
has the particular volume you need and where it is located in the library.
This information is contained in the box directly below the Title and
Published information.
