MANAGE YOUR RESULTS

Remember that full text is great if it is available but not all search results are full text.  Many high quality search results may only display a short abstract or citation.  You can check the Saint Louis University Libraries Catalog to see if the library subscribes to the journal that contains the article you need and check the E-Journal Portal to see if another database includes the full text.

SELF TEST:  Look at this citation from a periodical database.

Krcmar, Marina. "Children's moral reasoning and their perceptions of television violence."  Journal of Communication, New York; Jun 2001; Vol. 51, Iss. 2; pg. 300.

The article is not full-text in the database.  You could still get your hands on this article by checking:

Saint Louis University Libraries Catalog
E-Journal Portal
