SUBSTANTIVE MAGAZINES

Keep in mind that magazine quality varies. There are a number of popular magazines that contain very substantive information. Although these magazines include illustrations, photographs and advertisements, the articles usually are more challenging and informative.

Examples:  Scientific American, The Economist, National Geographic, The Nation.
