On April 8th, around 40 people showed up to play videogames at the Knights Room in Pius XII Memorial Library. Students either rocked out to Guitar Hero on the Playstation 2, enjoyed playing Halo 3 for the Xbox 360, or just simply played Super Smash Brothers and StarFox on the Nintendo 64. Others just played a good old game of Chess. The "free play" style of the gaming night was well accepted by the students. The gaming consoles were provided courtesy of students and staff. Refreshments were provided by the library. Students were encouraged to bring their own games and consoles if they preferred, and some did exactly that. Overall, the game night was a huge success. Students provided positive feedback and most were interested in attending future game events at the library.
