Library Game Night Fall 2008

On September 18th, the second library game night took place at the Knights Room in Pius XII Memorial Library. Once again, students provided positive feedback about the "free play" style and the "open to all" nature of the gaming night. Most were interested in attending future game events at the library. Some students enjoyed playing Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros Brawl for the Nintendo Wii, while others liked playing Rock Band and Soul Calibur IV on the Playstation 3. Many students rocked out to Guitar Hero on the Playstation 2, and some played Super Smash Brothers on the Nintendo 64. The Xbox 360 took center stage with Halo 3 and Armored Core. Overall, the turnout was better than expected with around 40 people showing and many staying throughout the entire event. The gaming consoles and the games were provided courtesy of students and staff and refreshments were provided by the library.
